The work of getting you to Heaven has already been done.
There’s nothing you can do to “earn” your way to Heaven. Salvation is a free gift from God.
No matter how many good things we do or how few bad things we do, none of us is perfect enough to get to Heaven. That’s why we need Jesus.
Jesus paid the price for all of our sins on the cross.
He came to earth to live a perfect life and become the perfect sacrifice that would buy our pardon with a perfect God who cannot be in the presence of imperfection (sin). He offers that pardon for all of our sins — past, present and future — as a free gift to all who will accept it so that we can be truly free.

God has made salvation amazingly simple. While some mistakenly call it “easy believism,” paying the price for our salvation was anything but easy for Jesus, but He did what He did to make it easy for us, because God is “not willing that any should perish” (2 Peter 3:9). He dearly wants each and every one of us to be in Heaven with Him.
